Lagena Cain

As a young girl, Lagena Cain was raised to carry herself like a lady; with style and grace. Ironically enough, she was born into the beauty industry; literally. Raised in a beauty environment, due to her family owning a beauty salon and school, she was exposed to how hair and makeup transforms women to be more confident. She is now a brow “eye”con and life stylist committed to seeing the beauty in the ugliest of situations that life can present us. This woman is FIERCE and a total VIBE!

In 2018, Lagena’s mother passed away and PoiseBeauty Lips & Lifestyle Brand was born. As Lala (as she is affectionately called) reflected on her life, she realized that she had always remained poised during adverse times. She also noticed that there are plenty of beautiful exteriors on women attached to unpretty inner beauty. She wanted to create a piece of work that helps women to thrive during difficult times.

This book was created from a very personal place of self-love and healing for LaGena. She is committed to motivating, inspiring and encouraging women to be bold as they evolve. Each chapter of this book is named after powerful adjectives to encourage women to keep pressing forward in life, love, career, and well being. These adjectives are also the names of some of her Poised Beauty lipsticks! One things for sure, when the world pushes women down, this inner beauty bestie picks them up!
